Walton Sanders Goggins Jr de son vrai nom est né le 27 juin 1971 à Birmimgham dans l'Alabama.
Dans la série, c'est un ami de longue date de Vic et ce dernier l'a donc intégré dans son équipe. Shane a un fort tempérament, ce qui lui joue des tours.Il reproche quelquefois à Vic de l'utiliser comme un simple bras droit.Néanmoins, c'est un homme d'action qui ne recule devant rien.
